Job Overview

The Storekeeper is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining the organization of stock within the Tech Store Tripoli branch. This role requires strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills to ensure smooth warehouse functions, accurate record-keeping, and prompt stock availability for internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders. Manage stock levels to ensure adequate availability and prevent shortages.
• Stock Organization: Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring easy access, labeling accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
• Data Entry and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock movement, including receiving, issuing, and inventory adjustments, using warehouse management software.
• Order Preparation: Prepare and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients or other departments.
• Cycle Counting and Audits: Perform regular cycle counts and assist in inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
• Loss Prevention: Implement measures to prevent stock losses due to theft, damage, or wastage. Report discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed.
• Maintenance and Safety: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Regularly inspect storage areas and equipment for any safety hazards.

Key Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in inventory management are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably within a technology or retail environment.
• Technical Skills: Familiar with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
