Electrical Engineer – Low Current

Responsibilities

  • Define scope, timelines, and deliverables for electrical installations, including ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) and low-current systems.
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards for both high and low-current electrical systems.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for system designs, installations, and maintenance procedures.
  • Work with team leader, technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including ELV
  • Ensure integration of ELV and electrical systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project goals.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements for all electrical systems.
  • Track and manage project budgets, optimizing resources to stay within financial parameters
  • Identify risks and implement solutions while enforcing quality control throughout installations.
  • Offer technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure best practices in all electrical system installations.
  • Oversee post-installation testing and resolve any issues or faults.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  •  4 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) and low-current systems installations.
  • Proven experience managing electrical projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Driving permit is a must, relevant certifications in electrical engineering or project management are a plus.
  • Must be a registered engineer in the engineering syndicate.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical leadership skills. Proficient in using project management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
